Sue DelaneyDirector - Family Department

One of the founders of BDH Solicitors Limited, Sue has been qualified as a solicitor for over 30 years. She specialises in child care and adoption cases. She is a member of the Law Society Advanced Family Law and Children Panels and is also a qualified Mediator. Based in our Birkenhead office, she heads up our Family Team and represents parents, young people and children of all ages. Sue cares passionately about Legal Aid and Parents’ and Children's Rights and brings this enthusiasm to all her work. She has unparalleled drive and experience and a fierce determination to achieve the right outcome for all her clients.

Nicki Turtle Paralegal - Family Department

Nicki has worked for us for over 20 years as a Family Law Paralegal and has enormous experience of all aspects of Family Law. She is a specialist in Child Abduction Proceedings, being involved in the reported complex case Re: C (Abduction: Settlement) (2004) EWHC 1245 (Fam) [2005] 1FLR 122, RE: C (Abduction: Interim Directions: Accommodation by Local Authority) (3003) 3065 (Fam) (2004) 1FLR 653. With a wide and varied case load, Nicki sees clients in our office and attends meetings with Social Services. She represents people at Court for all aspects of Family Law, including Domestic Violence Injunctions, Children Matters, Divorce and Care Proceedings.

Katherine HopkinsonSolicitor - Family Department

Having worked in Family Law for over 5 years, and qualifying as a solicitor with us, Katherine has gained considerable experience across the board and regularly attends Court to represent clients involved in a wide range of Family Proceedings including Care Proceedings, Private Children Act Proceedings and Injunctions.
